The edit is misleading, inaccurate and a waste of space (and wikipedians’ time). It gives too much weight to a fringe viewpoint without a reliable source, and it goes well beyond the sources themselves in claiming that Landmark has cult-like characteristics.
Siding is the final piece of your exterior that will protect your home and improve its curb appeal. There are many siding options to choose from, including vinyl and fiber cement products. The experienced and knowledgeable team at Landmark can help you decide which type of siding is best for your home. They can also provide current samples and brochures from leading siding manufacturers.
Choosing the right siding is an important decision, because it will be seen by all who enter your property. It will determine how your house looks and how long it lasts. Selecting superior siding that will withstand harsh weather conditions and keep its good looks over time is important, as it represents a significant investment. Certainteed offers a range of siding and shingles that are both durable and stylish, offering you the look you want to achieve. You can choose from a variety of colors, styles and designs that will complement the overall aesthetics of your home.
A family-owned business that’s been in operation for more than 25 years, Landmark Home Solutions provides top of the line energy efficient windows. Owner Brian Mason says the company scours the country for the best window and door products, testing them to see which ones will stand up to the elements and keep your family comfortable year-round. He also points to the fact that they use a lot of recycled materials in their construction process, which is both green and smart, since it means less waste. The company even donates a fair amount of its old stuff to Habitat for Humanity projects, such as the seven builds they’ve completed in the Niagara area in the past two years.
They did a great job on the 3-season porch and bay windows we’ve just remodeled, but we were disappointed with their window selection.
The Normal Theater
When it opened in 1937, the Normal Theater was one of the earliest movie houses in the town built specifically for sound films. It’s Art Deco and Art Moderne style, designed by architect Arthur Moratz, enchanted Depression-era moviegoers with hope for better times to come. Though the Normal Theater went through a tough time in the 1980s and 1990s, it was bought by the town in 1991 and restored to its original glory. Since then, it’s become a central attraction in Uptown Normal and has thrived as a town-run venue for classic, independent, and foreign films
